I love bedtime stories. It is a ritual in our house. I have three children (McKenna 7, Charlie 5, and Quin 3.) They each pick a book to be read. We add a bit of “snuggle time” during bedtime reading. The child whose book is being read sits in my (or my husband’s) lap. I have McKenna read her own book to practice her reading. I have McKenna read Quin’s book too, on rotating nights. Then myself or my husband reads Charlie’s book choice, so the kids hear the “fun voices.” It’s a great way to end the day – and then we give big hugs and kisses:)
